The program will feature a DVD of a program 2010 DVD Recording with Dean A. Dickerson, Ph.D.

Title: Integrating Neurobiology & EMDR Part 2 and 3

Description of DVD (Part 2): This DVD will help clinicians identify the basic structures in neurobiology, understand how neuro-networks are formed and the importance of human interaction in this process, describe the brain's primary function of survival, which results in over stabilization of pathways set down during trauma and understand how "plastic" the neural networks are, which allows for neurological based therapies such as EMDR to be effective.

(Part 3):This DVD reviews Dr. Uri Bergmann's recent formulation of the neuriobiology of EMDR, revisits in greater detail the functional anatomy of brain components introduced in the (Part 1) DVD on evolution, describes neuronal oscillation, memory and thalamo-cortical temporal binding and describes the activity of the thalamus in relationship to EMDR processing.

Duration: 3 1/2 hours
